Process: I started by designing the gear in Illustrator and printing out a template at actual size.

Then, I traced the lines onto a sheet of 3/4” Medium Density Fiberboard and cut the shapes out using a jigsaw.

Next, I sanded all the cut pieces down and drilled holes for fasteners.

Finally, I primed, painted, and assembled all the parts.
